Tarragona, a city in northeastern Spain, is situated on the Mediterranean Sea, originally an Iberian settlement. In 218 BC, the Romans built the city and converted the port into a fortress. Every year, there is an Easter parade in Taragona. The parade lasts seven days. Every year, it attracts a large number of tourists and enjoys a grand atmosphere.

Taragona is a city with a long history, including the Temple of the Great Augustus, Roman walls and amphitheatres. The Taragona National Archaeological Museum has a very rich collection of objects and sculptures from Roman times, where you can learn more about Roman Spain.
